How much would it cost to hire a solicitor for one appearance in magistrates ?
Need to sack my legal aid solicitor and get one with a set of balls who will represent me.

Every solicitor will have there own price list mate
It's Not What You Know, It's What You Can Prove
Represent yourself mate, just study the laws regarding your case, the judge will give you some leeway as your doing it yourself.

That worked for Nelson Mandela
Bout 150 for a brief bro just go sit in local court and watch them in action to pick the one that suits you best
Up the irons
Waste of fuckin time the lot of them, represented myself time and time again over the years, even when i breached my community order i still managed to keep myself out the slammer.

Since the gov fucked the legal aid system more people are representing themselves in courts, 99% without the necessary level of knowledge required to win the case. We ain't meant to get off lads because the whole system is designed to generate cash for the fucking rich. btw. There's a reason the rich don't go to jail.. its because they've the best legal representation money can buy.

Thing is unless youve murdered, raped or kidnapped someone, or its class A's, money laundering or tax evasion then youl probably walk free anyway
That's me fucked then
if you are going to act for yourself dont just read the legislation you have to look at the relevant case law too, the decisions of the higher courts can make a huge difference and are binding on the lower courts. eg Crown trumps magistrates, Court of appeal trumps Crown, House of lords Trumps The Court of appeal and the European court beats them all. there is one other court in the UK that has overall supremacy but it has rarely ever been constituted as a court, that is The House of Commons.
