Weatherwise what are those "perfect conditions "?
    Is that an air rifle?
    What pests are you hunting?

Not too sunny/warm and not too cold/wet
Yes mate, it’s a Air Arms S400 with the multi shot conversion
My best mate has a working farm and the birds get to the feed before the sheep do, so I’ve been asked to help keep some numbers down

I was once an avid varmint hunter for local farmers. Groundhogs were always a problem for them when they plowed over their mounds. My .22-250 under a 6x18 scope was quite effective on them.
I was a Mod on a firearms forum for over 10 years so I'll leave it at that...otherwise I would rattle on-n-on off topic.
Anyway, back to the weather. We are expecting our first Noreaster in a few days with a foot of snow.

I’d love a rifle, but I simply don’t go out as much as I used too. And I can’t be bothered with the hassle of applying for a firearms certificate, then justifying why you want and need one, and then having the firearms officer come out to make sure your using it correctly to its needs. All this would take at least 6 months to a year so I’m happy with my little air gun
