    What he used looks like a milk bottle top so I would say aluminium. But if you are asking about the shop bought wire gauze, to be honest you got me curious, given there is blurb on the internet claiming to link aluminium to poor health.

    Cant remember which metal it is gives off cyanide when exposed to heat. I shit you not. Possibly galvanised steel iirc but dont just get any old bit of metal and fill your lungs

    I remember when all paraphernalia that had anything to do with bongs that came in contact with the flame was aluminum, somebody decided that wasn't very healthy.

    I might trust something made out of copper, it seems to be good for people. That is if I can't get titanium.
