Default More bollocks from The Daily Fail - cannabis vomiting syndrome

A bizarre syndrome that makes heavy cannabis users violently ill and leads them to take frequent hot baths to ease the pain has been reported by doctors.

Symptoms of the illness include severe stomach pain, nausea and vomiting – and bathing in very hot water up to five times a day for relief.

At least two cases of the syndrome which involve multiple visits to accident and emergency have been reported in the UK and worldwide the conditions is ‘increasing acutely’.

New users who have not smoked much or anything before who suddenly ramp up to very high doses of pot,
can actually on rare occasions experience vomiting,
it's a short phase on the cannabis ride never lasting more than 15 minutes at a time and regular pot users never experience it.

Now we know that the U.S. government sprayed super toxic pesticide on tons of grows all over Columbia and other places.
Many of these fields were sprayed just before harvest time, so the drug lords just harvested them and sold them as usual.
The U.S. government did not bother to issue as single warning about the deadly toxins they themselves introduced into the
marijuana supply. A lot of people got very sick.

    Could this be something similar?

Yes, but "bathing in very hot water up to five times a day for relief." Nah.

Why not state the amount of people vomiting daily on alcohol. I cant believe people still take notice of the daily fail. then again sheep will be sheep.

I was going to ask a very similar question, also have they been smoking cannabis or so called 'legal highs' or cannabis adulterated with god knows what by street dealer filth. Because those symptoms are something I have never heard of particularly the hot bath bit. I suppose its a possibility if someone is allergic to one or more of the alkaloids in Cannabis, there must be people are are allergic.

And dying from alcohol or killing some one after drinking alcohol, or beating their wives and children after drinking alcohol. Doesn't happen after smoking cannabis.

True and if weed was legal the emergency services and the A&E department would be far less overstretched

Yeah there's that too you should see the junkie shite we get in over winter, threatening nursing staff, demanding pain relief. Ther'e are more police in our A&E than the local nick sometimes pandering to the drunks and junkie scum. And it's worse if we have to admit them 'cos they can only get their meds when its time for them and not when they want them

Storyteller is probably more accurate. If they just reported the FACTS of any issue they might be worth reading, as it is they seem unable to resist adding their own very subjective and personal opinions or those of their masters. I don't know about you but I prefer to form my own opinions based on facts or the balance of probability. As long as we don't rely on the news comics as our sole source of fact we cant go far wrong.
