    Default Mean Green Growing Machine

Hello there. I thought I would show off my PC case grow. I didn't build it I just bought it but I have made some alterations. It has a 70 watt CDM-T bulb with a ballast box and 2 fans for the ventilation. Outside the case there is also a digital timer and a 12 volt regulator but other than some shiny wallpaper that's about it.
When I first got it I failed badly until I got some guidance but now I can keep my plants alive and I'm even starting to reap some overdue rewards for my investment! I'm still learning how to apply my new knowledge and I already made a monumental booboo that I will talk about another time. What I learned from my mistake is that my case is set to september 25th and every day is groundhog day
I'm using canna coco pro+ and canna coco feed at 2.5ml per litre of tap water. I started out leaving my water for a day before using it but now I mix it fresh from the tap because there are things in water that are assumed by canna so they say mix A straight away and then B after 5 minutes. Then I let it stand for a bit until it gets a bit warmer.
There are 3 plants in my case now with one nearly ready to be harvested. I think any time after Sunday is ok. Here are some pictures taken 2 days ago.

Hey Despoina, woo hoo! You got your journal up!

    So, some initial questions:

    1. Is your PC a regular sized PC Case (ATX) or a server case (taller than a typical PC Case)? Ideally, if you could mention a Make/Model so I have an idea of how large the Case needs to be before I fit it with a 70w CMH. I've been wanting to step up from CFL's.

    2. Is yours a perpetual grow as well? Would love to have another Perpetual show around here!

Can't wait to hear how the harvest of that old girl goes!
Come along for the ride as I run through a full cycle of a Perpetual PC Case - 12/12 From Seed.

Thanks for looking in and leaving such nice comments everyone. I'm so pleased you like the pics. Just wish I had a better phone
Special hello to you Smacka thanks for joining in. I don't know if it's a perpetual yet because it hasn't been so far! But I hope it will be there's 3 in there now but 2 are a bit funny? I made a mother plant and some cuttings and did really well with them just on my windowsill. But they were all ready in mid September so they were getting 12/12 and flowering when they were meant to be vegetating. Duh! Why didn't I think of that? So then I put them in the case at night to stop it but they are just growing one finger leaves and some of them are really gnarly! And I've kept them in coffee cups or else they wouldn't fit in the case. I seem to be doing everything wrong atm
I'll take some pictures of them so you can tell me what you think. I don't know if what kind of case it is and there's nothing written on it anywhere. I'll measure it for next time

These are my mistakes that were born on a windowsill around 25th September I forgot to say the the mother plant was a cutting from a plant in flower so these were plants were flowering on the day they were born. This is the oldest one and you can see all the single leaves but she's just glowing! I'm so happy with her

And this is the baby she has been in for 1 week. I was worried they would not be ready cos of all the funny growth but there's 2 sets of 7 fingered leaves on this plant so it must be mature? Fingers crossed anyway

    Hello back!

I don't know enough to know what might be going on, but obviously she's stressed. We know that, right?

I'd use your Google-fu to see what might be causing it. Might just be a survival tactic, that will clear up on its own?

Any chance you can upload a pic of the front of your Case (head on), and I'll do what I can to track down the make/model. I'm sure v12xjs knows, it's a shame he took off. (side note: if you're reading this, v12, shoot me a PM; I'd love to bounce a couple ideas off of you)

    Roots looking good, my man!

On that note, my plants have been chugging their nutes lately. Finding myself feeding every 3 days on the old girl.

    I changed two things:

    1. Kept the door on the PC Case. This raised my temps from 25°C to 30°C – maybe they're drying out faster?
    2. Added the Bloom, and PK 13-14 to the nutes – maybe the roots exploded and she's drinking a lot faster?

Young girl's exploding as well. Pics to come in 3 days.
