    Default Aqua Gems?

I have found these really awesome little transparent Balls that come in all colors called aqua gems. They are actually for growing.. You order them small and put them in water (already ph'd hydro style) and they expand and retain water. They are soft and squishy so they wont damage roots. You are not supposed to put them in direct light so I am thinking cover them and it should be fine.. I want to try this as a hydroponic growing Medium and I am curious as to if anybody else has tried this yet and what their results were.

I'm not sure how well this would work, firstly them balls may make your medium for your root zone too moist and without air you'll get root rot that's just my opionion just stick to either soil/coco or get some clays and do hydro

Yeah I started to think about that too. That's for the insight, I will probably go with Clay balls
