I need some help with finding a pc grow box, theres a couple on ebay but am getting confused lol

I think people look for an ounce per unit.

You'd probably be better making your own. You can get a 400 watt COB light for £130 (Fleabay) and that would get you tons of light, or a 200 watt for £80 (Ebay 371493544609). The advantage of COB or LED is less heat issues. What else do you need? You can get a new PC box for a couple of tenners, and your local PC store, Gumtree, or mate might have a spare one. Fans you should be able to wire-up yourself, via phone chargers. Shout if you need help but there are stickies.

I think you can save a lot of money, but if you want to buy a kit don't let me stop you.

Yea bud, White Warg is spot on. I'm a computer technician so I have been building computers for years. You can definitely build yourself a PC groom for pretty cheap. And if you build one yourself you can get a full tower PC case which is the biggest PC tower and they are the perfect size for a PC groom in my opinion, and you can get a cheap one for like 40 - 50 U.S dollars. You can get some really nice PC fans for about 8 - 10 U.S dollars a piece. That's what I paid for my fans that are in my computer and they are rated at 72 CFM. VERY GREAT airflow. If you need any help just give me a holler and I can send you in the right direction for the PC parts. Quality parts at good prices. Just my opinion. Hi guys, sorry aint been here for a while, life is hektic

Soo my shopping list for a pc box is:

Pc box
Carbon filter ( rhino ones )
1 or 2 pc fans
1 400w COB light
Pots

Also in terms of soil and minerals , what am i suppose to get?

If anyone wants to post a shopping list there more than welcome too

In addiction what kind of power unit would i need?

Soil you can go for a light potting compost, e.g. B&Q Verve plus Perlite. I personally use Plant Magic Soil Supreme as it's so light and fluffy and doesn't need extra drainage.

For soil your best nutrients would be Plant Magic Oldtimer Grow and Plant Magic Oldtimer Bloom. You can probably do with some kind of vitamin/mineral/hormone beneficial, usually made from seaweed or algae; some call it rhizo, my version is Plant Magic Catalyst. As you're in LED you can do with some silicate for thicker stems, e.g. Plant Magic Bio-Silicon, and something for cal-mag e.g. Magne-Cal.

Err, yeah. I went Plant Magic. They're based in the UK and have a fantastic reputation.

As for the fan, you can wire in a mobile phone charger.

Potentially big enough for a small tent? But am thinking a tent will let off more odur than a pc box?
