    Question Grow Room Radiators & Their IPxx Ratings

    Hi Guys,

    Can't seem to find any info on the forum or elsewhere regarding oil rads and their IPxx ratings.

    Surely if growing in a humid environment these radiators should be at least IP44 rated? I bought a 1kw mini oil rad from Ebay and even the seller doesn't know. It also isnt in/on the box/instructions.

    Anyone know?

    I ussually check if it says "for outside" use, you're fine

    There ip20 normally humidity not a problem if its on because of the heat just dont spray near it

    Wouldn't worry mate doubt it's humid enough to worry about.
    Never heard of anyone having any probs.
