Yeah eh viz , they are surely efficient for dispersing light ,

I always paint mine whit white primer ,it reflects better then the alminum and doesn create hotspots ,

Anyhow the only way to really know if something works is to give it a try. Bought this one a few months back and gave it a go with my last grow before summer kicked in.

Not 100% sure it qualifies as a parabolic, I will leave that up to you guys to decide. What I can say is that my temps were lower and I was obliged to toss one of the 4 plants out of the tent 120 x 120 due to severe overcrowding.

Parabolic reflectors get my vote now.
Thats what I want to hear.

Here's another parabolic type reflector I'm using at the moment. The Hortiline Northstar Shade. A good addition for the small space growers measuring only 60x60cm in total.

This doesn't quite reduce temps as the standard parabolic shades do due to the horizontal bulb but with the fitted top heat escape it's still cooler than the standard barn style shades, allowing plenty of heat to escape through the top.

Great light spread from this one and averages around £50

Yes plenty of heat movement through the top jokes. A 60x60 tent is doable but pushing it slightly, they'd be no room for air to pass through to the filter as it's a like for like size. However a quick trim job would do the trick

    The tent size is 80x80x180

I recommend yall , drill holes in them tops of parabolics to let heat flow up , i just drilled two 4.5" holes and i can drop them 3" more , them parabolics trap heat in pushing it downwards .

Im modifying my blowers and fikter to me mobile to bring up/down as needed so light can move .

Cool , most are solid plates with solid sides , just traps that heat in torching them tops no matter how much ventilation . Them hoods are pretty cool , rekon you have one Joker, is it horizontal bulb or vertical ?
