Drying advise needed please

Hey all. Planning to harvest my plants in the next week or so. Recently bought a 4 tier drying rack and looking to dry my beauties in the shed. It's dark which I've heard is good but only 6 x 4 in size. Is this big enough for good ventilation? Or does it need to be in a bigger space? Its my first grow and have been told to avoid mould at all costs! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You might want to know what the temperature is going to be , drying too fast or slow isnt good, same with humidity and preventing mould. Have you got power in there for fans, is it going to smell and be detected. There's a few questions you might want t think about.

During the day I'd say 22 degrees in the evenings it'll drop to around 16-18 degrees. No power, might need to reconsider. Would you say fans are essential in drying? Was thinking of cutting a vent in the woodwork.

Humidity could be the killer there, you need it under 60%. Personally I would wanna see it 55 and below. You need some air flow, although not a fan blowing directly on your crop. I would have a serious rethink mate.

. Cold drying rooms also increase the growth rate of mould so you want to be in control of the temp too, as Smiffy said, A rethink perhaps, you don't want to get to almost the end and have a mega car crash.

You need a loupe or microscope to properly look at the trichromes dude. Something with X100 magnification.

I dry in the dark in my grow room so that the smell is covered by my carbon filter & theres's good indirect air flow from the extraction fan.

Airflow is essential to drying bud bro I've had my own fuck ups over the years carbon filter aswell as the stuff will reek and the smell will carry on the wind outside the shed bringing you more problems

What has already said covers most of it but you also need to be careful about smells in the air as the buds will soak them up. If your shed smells musty so will your bud.
