8 waterfarms would require a large airpump that can cope with 8 airstones, I use a 90L/Hour piston pump for my 6 URDWC 20L pots and that works fine. I would also suggest using the 2" round ball airstones as they produce maximum amount of bubbles for the airstone unlike disc airstones which only use partial airstone. A manifold will be fine. The dripper system on the water farm doesn't use much power, a small single outlet airpump will run 1 waterfarm, however again I would use a manifold on the 8 covering all of them.

You think ill be better off building my own waterfarms in that case? Ive heard that home made dripper systems can cause problems.

got a 15 litre water farm can this be moddified like in this thread and what kinda yeild could u get from this size farm

When you mod a waterfarm you should add double the amount of holes to the bottom and also drill the sides as roots grow sideways to. Just run an airline into the res and attach an airstone and your farm will produce amazing results for you Ok

Home made dripper systems are fine as long as you know what your doing. When members/growers say there dripper system is causing them problems it's because they don't know how to build there own dripper system.

Pumps are negligible in power consumption
You can get a large pump and a manifold but you dont want so much air that it causes root damage.

no air stone tho

Look on eBay for 2" (50mm) Air stones and try and go with a piston pump or Halia pump there the better pumps as far as I'm concerned.

Whats the perfered light to use on these farms..duel spec or normal son-t-plus for flower??

I have read a good few guides on hear and it seems most use the duel spec on a farm and just wondered if anybody has used both and noticed a difference..between them??
