    Typical!
We got there in the end if you want one wired send pictures again and I'll cast my eye over it

Am I right in thinking that you haven't got anything wired into the cool side of the controller?

    Default Thermostatic Heater controller

Also forgot to ask, where does the relay get wired in and which size relay would be needed? Thanks

    Costs

Elitech USTC-1000..Ebay seller Elitech-uk was £9.54 looks like its gone up to £10.99 now.

Electrical enclosure box ip56 rated £ 4.00 from my local electrical store CEF.

Miscellaneous...4 meters 3 core cable, single socket, gland, plug £5.50 local hardware shop.

    Total cost £19

Im not going to go into the construction here, it really is very easy, took an hour to complete the job..Just note if your heater is over 2kw you will need an additional relay which you can get from maplins...

Nothing in the cool section, I am thinking about putting a double gang on though and having my fan on the 2nd one which would be wired like normal.

I don't have a air conditioner yet but it's on my agenda for summer so will most likely wire the cool in then.

I don't know about the relays either.
