Haha what a great thread. I cant remember the first cassette tape I bough probably to young. I do remember my mother buying me a portable record player from the OPP shop when I was 6, she have me a few of those tiny records cant remember now if they were 45s or what. The one I do remember though was White Sports Coat and a Pink Carnation. The others I remember when I hear them. The first record I remember buying was much later Rock Around The Clock by Bill Hayley and the Comets.

I very much liked The Stranglers when I was a teen (Wow, that makes me sound really old!) & I reckon that The No More Heroes album was the first album that I bought.... but I can't guarantee it
