    Default Unwanted pollination :(

    Hey guys I'm a newbe on here, I started a breeding project and my cellar got damp so I put my male in with the girls all 4 FEMS and 1 male all 3 week into flower had a family crisis my mum ended up in hospital over the weekend and some of the pollen sacks had opened Monday I put a bag over it moved it out soaked the room in water for 24 hours now I'm sat here stewing will the whole room be pollinated bad there was no pollen dust on the other place ts or any thing my only worry is the potency of the pollen

    Once the sacks open the fresh pollen is most viable. If you have fans running inside the grow room then your going to be very lucky to come out of this without a full pollination.

    Take a close look at the buds if the pistils have turned brown and withered back that's a good sign that pollination has taken place. The calyxes will also begin to swell

    Sorry to hear about your Mom. like the above posters said you'll probably have some pollination of other plants. Once pollen drops and flies you can't hardly stop it from hitting it's mark, but on the upside you might have some viable seeds for your breeding project. Would love to see some pics.
