    Default NFT pump set up

Hi all I've just set up my NFT 424gt system put my water in ph fine. My question is the pump flow it recommends that i open the oxygizing valve fully but when I do that i get a noise from the pump. If I close valve pump runs silent. I know its important to get oxygen into water so what's the best way to get it just right ? Thanks in advance for any help.

I wouldn't worry about it.. As long as the water is flowing down the tray, the drips will create dissolved oxygen in your reservoir for when the roots are long enough to go in... I reccomend a spare pump just in case yours fails..

Yeah B.A. is right. Tbh I don't even use that valve thing. The movement of the water creates lovely big air bubbles if you watch it with the lid off.

Also make sure your res temperature is between 18-20 Degrees C. This ensures maximum dissolved oxygen & zero chance of root rot.

Cheers guys I'll just keep it closed to keep pump silent as it sounds like a generator running lol.
