Thumbs up First grow - 2X Pineapple Chunk & 1 8 Ball Kush - Mentored by joker

    Good evening fellow cannabis enthusiasts

After spending months researching how to grow cannabis and after finally finishing the renovation I have set up a small tent in the loft (probably a little premature but i couldn't wait any longer) I have had a ganders around a few similar forums but as i have already found out people seem to be decent here, so to anyone who chips in throughout this I am grateful for your time.

I already had quite a bit of the gear before i moved into this house, a friend left it in my garage a while back, i think i may have to add / replace some bits as we go but that wont be a problem.

    So i'm using the following:

    1.2m X 1.2m X 160 Attic tent
Final pots - 20L Fabric pots
Medium - Coco Coir & around 20/30% perlite
    Nutes - Flora Trio
    Cal-Mag
Veg Light - 200w Omega CFL & Reflecor
Flower Light - 600w HPS & Reflector (probably going to buy a cool tube - will need it)
    600w Lumii Ballast
    2X 6" Fans
    Thermometer & Humidity meter
I have 2 extractor fans so i can upgrade later if i need to extract more air.
Carbon Filter - i think i might need a new one, it seems to work fine but is a few years old and i think its possible that its far too big for the space.
Got PH kit and plenty buckets / jugs and spray bottles.
Hand pump to extract run off
    1 electric heater

Considering investing in a humidifier, just need to wait till end of month.

Last Saturday i stuck 3x Pineapple Chunk and 1x 8 Ball Kush seeds into root riot cubes, within 24/36 hours 3 including the kush had popped above surface and shown roots, to date i have had them in the cupboard under the stairs and in the tent (last few days) i messed about with getting lighting right and temp and they currently sit a few inch away from the light in RH 57% 28 degrees. I have a humidity problem at the moment, it keeps dropping below 40% i have sprayed the tent inside as advised and i have also put a bowl of water in, any suggestions?

Anyway i will upload some pics and try my best to keep updating as often as possible.

    peace

Get a couple of tea towels and soak them completely. Hang them in some way with as big a surface area as possible. Let the excess water drip into those brilliant, big drip trays you've got.

You will need to re soak them every 12 hours or so but it does help.

That looks decent, so do you just hook it up to the heater and when the temp drops it turns the heater on?

I've just seen one on amazon for about £40 probs get that. 4litre it is.

Do you have any more idreas in the short term? i sprayed the side of the tent inside but within an hour you couldnt tell.

It's always good to have a guide to go by, but you will learn to read what your plant wants and needs as you go along.
Colour, leaf growth and bud growth are just a few days to read what your plant needs.

Different phenotypes require different treatment. Even the same strain can grow completely differently.

As long as you post regular pics in natural light we can all help you along the way.

I'll grab you a thread which will give you a rough guide to coco and feeding.😉
