Default Did your auto not auto?

I think it is time we started listing problems with autos that turn out to be photoperiods...

If you have this problem with auto seeds, please reply below with the breeder & the strain - time to name & shame the breeders that are selling us poor quality products!

To start this off, my last grow suffered the problem

Just an idea not sure if its already been done but in the interest of fairness can we also do a thread for top notch autos?

Blue Treacle Automatic by the Feminised Seeds.

Grew three, two were perfect the third was a mutant and ended up being a photo-period that looked nothing like the other two. Smokes different too.

I never really understood auto's. Apart from auto flowering, what's the difference? I never found it hard to say "Ok, time to start flower and flip the light sequence" but I'm assuming theirs more to it than that?

Big bud auto, Blue Himalaya, all from marijuanaseeds.nl not sure if it's the breeders or the site because I couldn't get a response when I questioned the freebies... they weren't what I was supposed to recieve

For me it's ease of operation, I can start another baby right next to one that's in veg which is next to another that's in flower, 1 room, I don't have to worry about light leaks, and less nutes used

Autos flower regardless of light cycles, they flower by their age. They will flower with a 12/12 light cycle or a 24/0 light cycle (however, more light hours are better) so there is no need to 'flip' or have a 12 our uninterrupted dark period.

In soil, as long as the pot is large enough (around 10L) you'll, most likely, never have to use Grow nutes, just Bloom

It's kind of like growing a photoperiod, from seed, on a 12/12 light cycle but without the inconvenience that 12/12 brings

Greenhouse seeds Big Bang Auto Fem x8 NOT AUTO'g
75 days in and, had I not cut them in half, flipped the lights to 12/12 and poured half a litre of ROX pgr down their throats, I'd have been fending off "fee fi fo fum" yelling giants from above by now!
Jury still out on whether these will deliver anything at all, pissed off doesn't cover it.
