    Default 750W DIY Watercooled 20x clu048 1212 COB setup

Ive been pondering on this for a lil while now researching and getting ready to pull the trigger on it. I have a buying list here and its summed up like this pretty much.

It will be mounted on this aluminum tray shelf I have. I plan to bore holes for the nipples on the waterblocks and use thermal adhesive to stick them to the aluminum and thermal adhesive to stick the cobs to the waterblock.

Topside of the shelf will be the electrical and water plumbing. 2 360mm rads and two reservoirs with.pumps and am extra set of pumps inline as failsafes. I already have static pressure 120mm fans for the rads.

They will be running 36v and 1040ma at about 150 lumens per watt.

Feel free to pitch in anything u think i should consider.

The tent is 1.2 meters wide by 2.4 meters long and 2m tall.

Price wise it sits on par with 2 1600w mars 2 led units i believe.

I went ahead and switched the Cobs to 50/50 3500K and 4000K. and am gonna hack open my Vipar Spectra 900W and 300W and use the 3 LED panels Big small Big spread evenly to get more red and IR and UV spectrum in there for flowering. The order is on its way.

Hello mate can I ask the reason for going water cooled. I'm just finishing a grow using 10x cxb3590 3500k 72v running them at 50w a COB and passively cooled. I loving the results so far and am bring them down next week.

Apparently the mean well driver i bought was defective and the seller just cancelled the order. I went with a cheap 1000w 36v driver instead so the thread title should be updated this rig will be 1000+ watts once I add the vipar spectra leds on it aswell for red spectrum.

Got a few waterblocks so I started designing and mocking up. Couldn't get the noise cancelling rubber attachments on the fans to go into the rad so I double taped them on and used the rubber as feet/spacers under the rad.

My idea is a rad on the end the res on the other end wiring down the middle. Its looking a lil tight for the vipar spectra leds but ill open up one light today and mock up to see if its even possible

Looking forward to see how this turns out for you. What are the COBs you got there. Also what distance spacing you going for ?

Brought down the plants I grew under the cxb3590. 500w true pull from wall and first run did just over 1.3g per W and kniw I can do better

The cobs are Citizen 1212 Gen 6 if im not mistaken, 3500k and 4000k 50/50 20 units. My tent is 2.4 meters wide and each aluminum shelf is 110cm im planning on having 2 rows of 5 per shelf and the vipar spectra panels in the middle of the tent.

total real pull with the vipar spectra panels will be about 1400 watts
