Default LST'd my Auto Skunk #1's. Have I done it right?

    Hello all

So today I decided to do a bit of LST on my auto's. I have decided to do this as they have become very short and very bushy as there is alot of light, my stretch has been none existent. Now the lower leaves and node are constantly in shade because of this so I thought LST would be the best course of action.

All I need to know is, have I dont it right?
I have used a wire coathanger, bent both ends and threaded through a hole I have made in the pot, bent the plant as much as I dared for fear of kinking the stem.
Here is an image before the LST

Now here are some images after the LST from various angles.

    Thanks in advance.
    Any advice is appreciated.

p.s - These plants are on Day 20 of growth since sprouting.

Personally would have topped 'em first allowed a little re-growth & then LST'd. Not made it easy for yourself only half filling the pots, what was the idea behind that?

    New grower mistake I suppose.

Didn't really think about it at the time, at least I know for next time.

Didn't want to top as it's only my first grow and I read topping autoflowering plants requires a bit of experience which I don't have.

So should I remove the wire and let them grow?

Topping isn't rocket science identify the 5th or 6th node and snip above it, however, understand if you have first grow jitters about doing anything you're not altogether comfortable with.
Maybe just see this grow through to the end in as straightforward a manner as possible, next time around before you strike out on your own, start a diary & look for a mentor who could assist you to maximise the potential of your grow. There's no shortage of expertise or will to impart it on you.

It's different with an auto. IIRC you top on the 3rd node, but (IMO) not to top an auto if you're still new to growing.

It's surprising how many people follow diaries but make no comments!
