Nobody uses them because the not accurate ! Look at hydro diaries !! Again nobody uses them because there not accurate .

If you have a pen but want back up I suggest u get another pen.

U say it's time consuming calibrating pens once a week for 20 seconds but you have to wait 5 mins everyday to get a inaccurate reading on a strip

Pens don't give a reading of 5.7219532 they just say 5.7

So I think you did get your question answered there . Don't use them as there not accurate 😁

If all your worried about is getting your ph between 5.5/6.5 you are going to Fcuk your grow up.. You clearly no nothing about growing and made not 1 valid point that you do... If money is a problem by a cheap Chinese pen for £5.00 or £3.00 & then wait 2 months for it to be delivered..

Experienced growers in this thread tell you to buy a ph pen.. Personally I'd love you to buy some Ph strips and prove me wrong, its not going to happen..

Good luck though, You're going to need it.

    Your question was:-
I'm after some suggestions as to which pH test strips to get.

    My answer was:-
there are no PH test strips that I could really recommend

Therefore I did answer your question...
It's Not What You Know, It's What You Can Prove

Just having the same question out of curiosity. Why is everyone saying strips are no good? Up until now I always thought that anything manual is better than electrical. On Amazon there's some with pretty good reviews like pH Test Strips 120ct or Litmus pH Test Strips.
