Question Rockwool small to large transplant

    Hi all,
I'm about to start my 1st nft I have a gt100 think I have got my head around most of it but not all.

I have used the seedling size rockwool before but I'm unsure on the transplanting to the 3" from what I understand you don't intreduce the plant until the roots are showing from the 3" cubes.
In the small cubes you just add water but buy the time it needs to moved into the bigger cubes would the not not need to be fed ? Could someone pls take me through the best process from seed to introducing to the NFt

Yes you should start to feed seedlings a low Ec from around 5 to 7 days after they have sprouted in hydro regardless of what size cubes you're using...You can hand feed once transplanted into the larger cubes till they show roots saves cranking your system up too early..

Ec is the feed strength at which you feed your plants...You need an Ec meter to measure this. You will also need a pH meter if you don't have one already, these tools are essential for a trouble free grow in hydro...You need to get reading mukka there's a lot involved and you're jumping in at the deep end with NTF because its a very precise way to grow weed which requires great attention to detail...

    Thanks fellas,
that would be the blue lab truncheon I've got then.
The plan was to stick to soil but ended up purchasing a large amount of top end gear for a good price which included 4 sets of nft's huge box of mutes etc. So was thinking I would give it ago so I'm flat out reading and asking questions as I've only ever grown playing around with just soil and water and still done pretty well and got the bug for it now.
Im keen as mustard to make it work so it's learn learn learn
