Memory flooding back! Lol These plants are doing very similar things to last week when I watered them, day after plant 1 upturned some of its leaves and they burned. Both seemed reluctant to grow for a couple of days then shot up. Is the nitrogen toxicity causing the second plants' leaves to claw? These seem dry towards the ends of the leaves but not upturned and burned like the first.

Yeah, a sure sign of too much nitrogen is when the leaves start to claw. This can often happen with seedlings as they settle into their soil, as long as it's nothing major then it's often easier just to let the plants ride it out than take preventative measures as when the plants grow they are able to deal with larger amounts of nitrogen.

Growing well and adjusting to the soil by the look of it. No sign of any roots at the bottom of the pots as yet.

I'm happy to go in whatever direction you want with this grow as long as they are finished before Christmas.

Flowering is supposed to be 7/8 weeks and there's 14 weeks until xmas so in my simple mind I'm quite relaxed, maybe going away at xmas so could do with them being chopped by then.

See, that's what happens when I have 6am starts... numbers get all muddled LOL

We should have enough time to get a topping in & still cruise it

We'll hang off the topping for another few days, wait for the next node... and then repot afterwards

Watered today 1/2 l each with at least 10% run off. Plants are starting to get thirstier as this is six days now since last water. Plant 2's leaves were drooping and the pot was light, finger test dry. Also another thing I noticed which I've not read anywhere is if you gently squeeze the pots you can hear how dry the soil is, almost sounds crispy.

Nah, don't squeeze the pots, just pick them up, you'll soon learn to tell if they are light & need water
