About 200 bucks 152 or your money, pulling 450W, I would say that is a good deal. Last time I was looking at these here in the states, they wanted around 400 bucks for them. JMO

those lights are about 1500 dollars
That's a lot of money for something that probably couldn't out grow a 600w HPS....

your looking at the wrong light. this is the one i'm talking about

regarding hps? these cob lights fix the LED issue with christmas tree lights. even if your running a 600w HPS a lot of that light wattage you think should be there is wasted to heat. alot of the power is also used to create a green spectrum of light which the plant doesn't use. then, you also have the ballast efficiency.
the cobs do away with that, while your using less watts with the led, more of the light it emits is the correct type for the plant to use as energy, with not too much energy wasted on heat for the wattage. a hps will waste of green and lots of heat. co2 can also increase your yields by 20% with a hps.
Opps... saw that pic as a link... you nearly ended up with another infraction...

A very good light albeit pricey. Not a fan of the osram cobs but still would give a HID a run for its money in output and PAR per watt
My preference is anything based on the cree cxb3590 Ebay 253307781413
your right but the hps bulb uses a lot more power and wastage of power in the green light spectrum. so the led can run at a lower wattage and still produce more substantial yield, while at the same time being much more pleasurable to work with. the leds also point straight down instead of wasting light reflecting omni directionally like a hps does. these new leds can also have what you might call a dimmable ballast. these leds can be changed up in wattage or down up or down depending on weather for example....you don't need to swap the bulbs and have a digital ballast like with hps.
