    Default Aeroponics for newbie

I have been looking into the "Nutriculture Amazon 8-Pot Aeroponic Grow System"

    I have never tried hyrdo/aero.
Is it wise to try aero first or try hyrdo then aero?
From what i read its mostly about getting the ph /ec levels correct ?

I was thinking of doing a dry run with some tomatoes just to test out set up

hydro is easier than aeroponics imo.
You also need a chiller with arroponics to prevent root issues which will sting you for another 240 odd quid.
would be easier starting with a bubbler bucket, about 33litre job if you ask me.

all the more reason to use bubblers I would say.
Bucket, air pump, airstone, net pot clay balls, insulate the buckets and you are off.
Set Ec and ph and away they go,

So i would want a separate bubbler system where each plant has its own water supply, and its not recirculated between plants?

either way buddy up to you
if only 2 i would have them separate. any issues with one wouldn't effect the other
dwc still not easy tho you need to keep an eye on it and still may get too hot
you could always try a wilma system with clay balls as the medium
    or design your own
you need 2 18litre pots full of clay balls on a tray
cut the end off the tray and make a table for it to sit on slanted towards one side
so the water runs down and have a res at the end of that table
1 pump then can feed both pots and it will drain back to the res easily done
    less maintenance
if i help drop a THANKS its free

I have one of these and have had incredible results, in the process of setting up a grow right now as it happens. Started out micro managing ph ec multiple times a day but in the end I just ended up setting the ec when making up nutes and letting it grow. Never had issue with the reservoir over heating so never bothered with a chiller.

I added a tiny backup pump that feeds the root chamber via a sparge bar, if the main pump fails you can ended up with a dead plant pretty quickly. Also watch for the plant roots blocking the drain back to the reservoir. I grew a monster once that did this and I almost ended up with a flood.

hydroponics is better choice. i had this system with 4 pots and it was complete headache for me. then i shift to DWC system.
plants love to grow in hydro. shift to hydro (any type, dwc, ebb and flow, drip)if you can

    Basic Info About Aeroponics :
Aeroponics is the process of growing plants in an air or mist environment without the use of soil or an aggregate medium (known as geoponics). The word "aeroponic" is derived from the Greek meanings of aer (???, "air") and ponos (?????, "labour").

I need to use a watercooler With dwc buckets tough. Or else the water gets up at 25c.
