Thread: Quietest air moving fan

    Default Quietest air moving fan

    Hey peeps

I'm looking at inside box fans for moving air around, I've got a couple maxi bright atm but they are crazy loud and constantly making a knocking noise

Any suggestions on better quality clip on fans

Also if anyone can recommend and tower fan that has internal oscillator rather than the entire unit? As I wanna strap it on its side from the side of my tent, don't want the whole chassis trying to rotate

    Thanks in advance

Yeah I'm wondering if it's worth getting a couple more expensive pedestal fans to save the constant burning out of the cheap one.

Does your tower try twist from the base to oscillate? I'm just wondering where I would strap if it's external moving parts rather than internals

the fact they move air will cause noise though,
the quietest i have used are the chrome tilting fans, but they don't oscillate

that style hung in the corner pointed across the top,

Thanks dude, I ain't worried about the woosh. Just smooth running is all. The bloody maxi bright fans seem to start knocking after a couple days and it just gets more and more intense till they stop

I'll have a look around for "chrome titling" fans

i have a 12'' one mate, can't tell it's even turned on, heavier blades perhaps stop the rattling/shaking?
has 3 settings and definitely do last longer than the plastic ones,
