It didn't format properly, but it's a script in the html code.
If you're on a PC, you can view the page source.

Someone mentioned that it's coming from allfontshere.press/fonts/courier3.js

Yeah, it stops everything javascript related which is what Aspie posted above. Like a little bit of automatic code on websites which you cant see

Depends on the forum, others have had it as courier6.js

noscript kills it dead, best thing since sliced bread is noscript, mind im also only using pre-quantum firefox as i distrust the new phase of firefox and im unsure how effective noscript is on quantum.

if worried about security for whatever reason then using chrome is like jumping off a ship when you cant swim

ditching google search for "startpage" is always a good move, you can then still use google search but logged out of google, coupled with noscript youll be as safe as you can ever be.

comodo AV/firewall is coming into its own now as well, pisses on norton for unknown new stuff, its auto quarrantine/virtual sandbox etc is very good.

run it all over a proper vpn and youre as good as you can get, well apart from parallel vpn etc but thats out of reach for most.

i can see allfonthereDOTpress in my noscript at this very moment, this means its been attached to the forums loading address not personal pcs,my pc is somewhat locked down and mostly runs in a virtual space from an image , im not au fae with forums software so itll be worth checking forum software suppliers page,it must be a known thing by now.
well caned atm,ill go hunting tommorow see whats what, its quite intriguing.

A quick google of 'minerblock' will reveal an extension for most browsers that kill the problem dead with no further user intervention required.....

The Firefox extension is saying that it's CoinHive (inline). Are you sure that it hasn't been added by your tech guy or whoever does the behind the scenes work?

The latest version of this page...
    https://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-foru...y-s-page/page2
    contains courier3.js

The wayback machine only took a snapshot of the page once. August 02 2017 and it doesn't appear in the code, but that could be because WB may strip out some of the code etc.

as has been said already, just get +Addon noScript,
that'll stop any/all hijacking java scripts from initiating in the first place,

As far as Im aware, its not specifically this website. The infected Javascript is attached to courierXX.js and coming from allfontshere. This is a font library part of the VB script that runs the site as its happening on other forums that use VB

NoScript is available for Opera joker. Pm'd you the link
