    Default 4th day and barley spouting/

    Hi all,
    This is my first growing and i soaked 10 seeds in water for 24 hours and then into damp paper for 3 days, only two cracked and one barely sprouted, the issue is i read that most people sprout within 48 hours, why mine taking too long? any idea please? the weather is very warm.

    Keep ‘em warm, in the dark and keep the tissue damp, be patient not all seeds are the same.

    Have the seeds sunk to the bottom of the glass?

    Yes they have, ones cracked a little. I’ve placed inbetwen wet kitchen towels put em in a plastic zipped sandwich bag n put in a dark cupboard in my kitchen

    Was going to say to use the paper towel method after they had sank. But your on it!!

    Put them between damp kitchen roll now & wait
