I just grabbed one of these. I know it defeats the purpose, as it isnt zippo quality and all that, but I like it

I'd like to know if anyone uses USB ones, and also the guys using clippers, how you stop them from not working after a week (after filling gas and swapping
    Flints, mine just spark)

Im a Zippo man all the way . Just need to learn how to use and maintain em properly and they will last you decades . I have about 15 of em dating back from 1995-ish . Ive only had one that wont work no matter what i did to it . I think they fucked the angle of the striker wheel . Lifetime warranty on em . I keep forgetting to send it out for fixing .

Theres only one Zippo . Its stamped at the bottom of the Casing and etched on the insert . Dont be fooled by Chinese knockoffs

They light anywhere . Ive lit them in all out snow blizzards .noreasters out ice fishing in 80km winds at -50° .

Really? It's all I seem to see around here
Either way it's the shape I don't like, Big is ironically a lot smaller in your pocket

Wheels clog up because of the soft flints, use a small brass brush to clean them and buy Zippo flints, they're hard

Most of the Clippers I see these days are fakes, the pressing of the collars are too light (feint Clipper logo), the valves are crap and usually disappear inside on first fill, the flame stays on when you let go of the valve (burnt two pockets thanks to this) and the base usually has unreadable print. I have loads of them and yeah, quality is crap compared to original ones...

Buy your Clippers from big stores, not local shops
