Default Drying - what in the world is that bad b.o. Smell?!

Just chopped the AvT and a mystery plant...

I popped the buds into a "newspaper dumpling" and plopped them over my computer's exhaust vents, and now my place STINKS!

My crops in the past have never smelled this icky.

Please don't tell me that really is "The Skunk"...

And no, it definitely is not me!

Thanks. Yeah, the smell is more normal now. If only it would dry faster, I need it for making oil!

LMAO!! The computer chucks out a little over 30 degrees C at the vents, 1 at the back and 2 on the top. I use a 240 AIO cooler at the top so it doubles up as "drying device". That B.O. smell was worse than cat piss, I know what that smells like!

You don't have to wait for it to dry if its for oil. If you need it, just sling it in the oven and crack on

Thanks! I am finding that submerging the broken up buds under the oil means very hardly any smell! For now i am still using the double boiler method to make the infused oil, but for the future I might venture into using an oven to get the temps over 110 degrees C. Decarb happens from 90 degrees C so what is there is just enough for my needs.

If you use oil with the double boiler instead of water, you can get to 110c. Just keep an eye on temps
