Post Seedsman Indoor contest: Lowryder #2 AUTO FEM.

You may find some copy/paste parts through my 3 diaries but this will only happens on the first stage of germination and maybe till the mid veg. of course this happens only around temp/hum, nutes or light details.

    Lights for veg: 150w+2x55w CFL 6100K 18/6
Lights for bloom: 600w Lumatek HPS 18/6 (lights are off on midday because of summer heat)
Nutrients: A.N. Connoisseur Grow (A&B), A.N. Connoisseur Bloom (A&B), A.N. Cal-Mag extra, A.N. Big Bud, A.N. Bud Candy, G.H. Trichoderma, BactoHemp (after 10th day 0.5ml per L, later i will adjust the recipe per 0.5ml per week based on plant needs. Cal Mag will added once a week. trichoderma and bactohemp only on the beginning and transplant)
Air: 1 floor fan, 1 stand fan, 1 A/C inverter

Well this is the second day of germination, the seed soaked for 24 hours on RO'ed water w. ph 7 on a dark room.
For this contest i will move the seed to the small jiffy pellet as bed medium to sprout. Until the 10th day, no nutes will be added to the water, except if it seems must. The first week Trichoderma and BactoHemp will be added to small doses for root stimulation which may be reused when the jiffy pellet planted inside the pot.

10L pots are going to used from the beginning till the end, filled with soil. Maybe clay pebbles will be used to cover the soil as it found to keep more moist and the plants happier on summer.

The grow room keeps a temperature mainly between 25 (with A/C) and 31 (without A/C) related humidity 48-59%

Hey good setup, however I want to emphasize, photos have to be totally personalized for each plant (if you choose to make a thread / plant), it must be completely customized to that plant/seed, so only the information you have mentioned (environment, nutes...) may coincide, but each thread it has to be totally independent of the other. happy contest & good luck!!

    Default 1st update

The first watering (25ml due to jiffy pellet medium) included a micro dosage of ¼tsp BactoHemp + ¼tsp G.H. Trichoderma blended with a ph 7 R.O.'ed water. The room temp. goes between 24 to 28C and the humidity 46 to 58%.

on 4th day the plant sprouted.

on 5th day it has already build a stem of 3cm with the fake leafs semi-open. Also it has developed a root to the bottom of the pellet. Seems that Lowryder #2 may become a wonderful "beast"

    Default 2nd update

on 7 day the plant stem reached 4,5cm and the first set of leafs have shown. Watered with 20ml R.O. ph 7

on 8 day the plant potted w. the jiffy pellet inside a 10L pot filled with plain soil. Watered with R.O. ph 7

on 11 day the plant have normal green colour, with minimum anomalies on the leaf buildup (curling). Possible phenos may start to shown.
Next time, watering will include 0.5ml of A.N. Connoisseur grow A+B each plus a dosage of BactoHemp to promote root growth.

    room info:
    R.Temp. 25-26c
    R.Humi.51%-57%

Till now the soil stay humid so it doesn't need water.

    Default 3rd update

    -Day 12

Today the first nutrient mix was fed to the plant. Using the A.N. Connoisseur two part grow A+B, 0.5ml each + 0.5ml A.N. Cal Mag extra
*a small dose of G.H. Trichoderma powder dissolved in the RO'ed water.

    Metrics EC560μS / PH6.2

1.3L water have been feed to the plant slowly with the minimum leak on the bottom of the pot.

    -Day 15

±200ml RO'ed water w. PH7, mixed with a small dosage of G.H. Trichoderma have given to the plant.

    -Day 16

She is growing normally, no signs of stress or Thrips, there are two spots on the leaves looking like a deficiency (brown necrosis look alike) so a followup with this lady will be good to understand her needs

Generally the room temp. stays between 22-27c.
The nights, temperature plays around 28-29 to help prevent stretching.

    Default Update

    -Day 25

The plant reached a height of 9cm and now you can see the first pistils at the 4th set of branches that it developed. Its colour looks great and natural.
    The plant fed 1.4± water w. A.N. Connoisseur Grow A+B (0.5ml each) and 0.5ml of A.N. CalMag xtra. PH 6.2 EC 570μS

    -Day 28

Sadly this season the grow room hosts a Thrips infestation which seems really hard to clean but doesn't kill any plant. At least till the end of the summer, willing to try different solutions but at the moment they killed by hand!
The plant's height is 12cm, branch 4.5 and leave 6cm.

    -Day 30

The plant is developing really short branches but without any sign of stretch and is having the minimum damage from Thrips (without any idea for how long will this last)

Generally the RT goes from 21c to 23c and RH from 47% to 57%
