Hi all I am a first time grower and everything went smooth until I found some spots on small lower leaves and darkening veins on larger leaves, also yellowing tips. I am on week 6 and just changed to 12/12 lights.Any advice please, I have been fertilizing on cannabis nutrient schedule with hydroponics ( floragro, florabloom, floramagic and calmag) thanks in advance

Soil or hydro or coco: coco coir, 25% perlite

Strain:shark attack and critical cure, the first is more affected

    Photo or Autohoto

    plant age:in week 6

    pot size:5 gallon

has it been repotted? and when?:no

    soil type:

nutes or additives used and how often for soil:every other feed according to cannabis schedule with hydroponics nutes and calmag, always ph 6.5 and every other feed plain phd water

    Air temps (max min):27/20

Res temps (max min):not sure what that means?

    humidity:20%

lighting type and wattage (hps, led, cfl):250 watt hps

Light schedule:was on 18/6 now on 12/12 as of this weekend

    ph level:6.5

EC (hydro and coco only) not measuring

    Background EC.

feed schedule and nutes (for hydro and coco)alternating nutes and plain phd water
    Thanks!

You need to know the EC levels when you run into problems....

Your PH needs to be reduced to 5.8 and you should feed/water daily - with no plain water days

It could be a number of things, but with so much out of whack on the grow, it's had to pin it down to anything specific....

It looks like PH to me. If this was my plant i would flush with 5.8 PH plain water until runoff hits 5.8 PH then feed 1/4 strength nutes at 5.8ph. Althought with my nute lineup even 1/4 would be too much at this point. Better to use an EC pen. A good one. Good luck.

pls excuse autocorrect. i am high of course.

How long ago did you flip to 1212? You might want to take it back to veg until you have this resolved. When the plant is sick the buds suffer in quantity and quality.

Thanks for reply. I just watered with 5.8 ph and plenty of runoff and the runoff measured at 7 ph! What does that mean, sorry it's my first grow. I will give much more water then until runoff ph gets lower... I just ordered an EC pen so I can keep an eye on that. I switched to 12/12 last Friday so will I go back to 18/6 for a while?Cheers

Keep flushing until you get to 5.8 PH. The high PH implies that you have nutrient lockout imo and you need to stabilize it at 5.8. I would keep it on 18/6 until you see the plant growing and healthy and without any visible issues on the new growth. The damaged leaves will not recover.

The flush may shock the plant and stop all new growth for about a week. This is fine if new growth is healthy. Worth the wait.
