    A simple answer would be around 15-20L - however, a lot depends on what sort of plants you are intending on growing & how you are planning to train them....

    I use to use 28L pots, but now have gone to 15.2L. I think I can get the same results with the smaller ones. I hope so any way. JMO I'm using fabric pots.

    Yup, spot on. I typically use 5g-7g fabric for photos, as these can run 120 days of grow time.
    Recently picked up some airpots, think there 12-15L for the next run of auto i plan on growing.70-90 day planned grow.

    Looking to grow in soil. Photoperiod for now.

    I was thinking;
    Party Cup
    maybe a 5 litre
    end in a 20litre/25lite smart pot

    dont really want to transplant more than twice.

    Everyone's different mate, depends on your grow media and how many times each day you water/feed.

    I grow 3' x 3' or bigger plants in 8 litres of coco and feed 5 times each day. I would never go back to bigger pots but everyone to their own.

    I veg for a long time and take 8 week strains 10 or more weeks until I chop.

    TO GROW A PLANT YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE A PLANT

    Hiya Hotshot, I tried to do a side by side with an old 16l fabric and an 8l fabric. All getting fed the same around 4 litres when in full flower split into 5 feeds each day (big plants). Started reading run off and the bigger pot was constantly reading higher than the 8l pots (higher than what was going in). I couldn't just leave it so cheated and give the 16l a few weaker feeds to run off and a mid grow flush or 2 which made it hard work. I on;y ever fed max 1.2ec with zero background, mostly 1.1. Just had my best grow to date in 8l.

    I think the 16 litre pots respond better to 2 bigger feeds to run off rather than the multiple smaller feeds.

    Your the reason I am trying these 15.2L Fabric pots. I was reading one of your post about them. I grow in Soil, so I don't have all the ph and ec thing, makes feeding much easer. I know you only need 1.1 gal per month of growth, so I was think why use a 28L, when most are done before 4 months time.
