    Default Aquarium water

I have a tropical aquarium and do water changes every week or so.

Does anybody else use or could I use this water to feed my plants as it has nitrite and nitrate .

    Just an inquisitive thought
    Thanks in advance

I have seen systems where the plants are automaticly watered by an aquarium.
Even amazon sells DWC kits they advertise with a goldfish underneath.

Wanted to share pictures, but I changed from windows to apple. Don’t know how I can get the url of a picture with this ipad.

When you say "tropical" do you mean like with corals and sea anemones and clown fishes and such; or "tropical" as in warm?

The ones with corals tend to have salinised water which is bad for plants. Not trying to insult your intelligence but sometimes we miss or don't notice some points when we are too excited about other really great points.

I have read about organic grows where dirty fresh water aquarium water is given to plants and the plants do well. Just google Aquaponics and water recycling. Am sure there are videos of it and the people who ran the farm used tilapia fish.

Yeah I mean fresh water tropicals. Fully aware salinated water would kill any plant. ,😁.

I've seen gold fish swimming in aquaponic setups.

The RO-DI water used for making up synthetic salt water for marine aquariums would be awesome water for plants surely ?
