    Default KIND LED customer service

    Robbing ba#%*!ds!!!!!

They wound me up so much the other day I feel they deserve to have a post about them.

So I’ve got 3 K5 LED’s, two of which have faulty fans in them causing them to overheat and switch off. 2 out of 3? Bought from different places. Crazy bad luck or what?

I don’t have a warranty as I never got them from a shop. So I rang them up and asked if I could buy some spare fans from them which they said they wouldn’t do. Fair enough, I get it........Sort of. So I then asked if they could just tell me the name of the connector so I can source it myself which they again refused to do.

They basically expect me to pay over £150 to send them the lights, charge me for the parts (plus a percentage) and charge me an extortionate rate for fixing them and returning them to me. If I knew the connectors it would literally cost me a couple of quid.

I think it’s disgusting that they will allow me to spend hundreds of pounds just to make a few quid on a repair not to mention being without the lights for at least a couple of weeks. I know it’s all about profit etc but that’s not on in my opinion.

I told them I’d rather throw it away than do that on principal

Rant not over. But paused for now.

Sorry to hear that. KIND Lamps aren't cheap. How long have you had them for?

My point exactly. Over £2500 worth of lights unusable because of a few quids worth of cheap fans.

I’ve had them a few months. I can’t return them. Either

Yeah that’s what I’ll be doing BUT I’ve somehow managed to misplace one of them so I’m one short hence needing a fan or name of the connector from them

And to be honest I shouldn’t have to. I’m fine with that but come on.....when you’re selling £1k+ lights you should at least be helpful in aftercare

Posts like this are a great source of info for the forum, thanks. A product's quality is one thing but after sales service can be the real acid test.

Hope someone on here will give you the advice you need to get them up and running again without having to send anymore money their way!

Could you chop the wire then solder that to the new fan?
