Nice work on the guide dude, these predatory bugs, will they just leave when all the other bugs have been eaten? I don't really want to add any chemical to the plants before I add any beneficial bugs either.
I do have some serious weaponry ready to go, Avid & Floramite being the 2 main ones, I do also have Pyrethrum 5EC, 70% iso & 12% h2o2.
I don't plan on using the Avid or Floramite as they seem to be very systemic & have both been known to show up in tested buds well after the 90 day safety guidelines issued by both brands.

Good post, absolute identical pests, have silvery leafs and black excrement. I've not got a deficiency, i have Thrips. Three weeks into flower still just taking 4-7 Thrips a day of with a cotton wool bud. Not going to spray with any chemical.

Do they just eat leafs? i can't see in the flower/buds.. I hope they do too much damage.

They’ll suck the juice from the plant and reduce its over all health mate, it’s best to get rid. Not so easy in flower, depends how big your flowers are. Just let the medium dry out in between waterings a couple of times and it should reduce the numbers or even get rid of them all together. If that doesn’t work, predators will be your best bet

    I'm trying to get rid.

The living soil is dry, stopped watering from the top in the last few days just bottom now. Actually its responding well to bottom watering as suggested by my living soils Q&A. Lucky as this ties in with what you said letting the medium dry. You can literally see it sup half pint of water. Shes on half pint per day. Lets just say i didn't have Thrips would you say watering top and bottom together, top or bottom only, i know what a strange question to ask.. but im curious whats best? or have i answered my own question water top and bottom together?

Having a hard time removing Thrips. I have inspected my plant the leaves are badly damaged and no bud yet that i can't see, probably is bud but too many white hairs covering them up. Pulled a few white and brown Thrips today. They just keep on coming
