A mate of mine does unblocking of drains... always keeps a bag of cement in the van for non payments on the spot.. he pours it down and tells them they have half an hour befor it sets and can be blasted away hahaha

Iv got a customer on at the moment about a new rear quoted we welded to his car through a insurance job.. it's a classic and he sourced the panel... it wasn't 'new' as in from a supplier it was from a random bloke selling it after it has sat for years in a garage...we don't normally let the customer sort panels but as it's an old car and hard to find part we thought ok go for it.

I had a call last week about having a look at it as there's some rust coming through! And by the way this repair was done 3 years ago and the car has been used for track days and never kept in a garage or unit and spends its life out side!

Trying to explain that I don't have exray eyes nor did he when we looked at it so we never seen any under laying rust!

But as I'm the last one to touch the car regarding repair work 'obviously' (in his eyes) I'm accounted for it as he doesn't want to pay but wants it sorted!

Lol, ive been called back to a mixer tap I fitted 5 years ago thats 'got a leak'. I get there, its covered in limescale which has eaten through the sides of the 'cheap' spout so every time you turn it on, its like a sprinkler. Expected that changed for free because there was a 10 year guarantee on the tap

Or a takeaway where I replaced the consumer unit from cartridge fuse to MBC's, it was broken into the same night by a rival takeaway and the Consumer unit smashed to bits with a hammer to stop them opening up. Owners phoned me up expecting me to fit another one for free, and sort all the damaged cabling whilst doing so...

Macky, I was at a M&S Food the other day and they had a good number of coffee syrups to make a vanilla coffee. You might want to carry your own stash. Or have a look at those "Monin" syrups that are available on amazon. They come in mini sizes for easy carry.

Agree with V here, first time ever had something other than sugar in my Coffee the other night, customer had none (FFS, see above ) Vanilla syrup, hmmm........nice
