    Default CFLs in outbuilding?

Hi all, I'm sizing up a new grow space. 5ft X 2ft X 6ft. Essentially a plasterboard wardrobe..I'll be using a 4" RUK rhino intake/exhaust setup. It will be in a single Brick skin outhouse with tile roof. What would everyone use for lighting on a budget?

    I'm.considering 3 X 300w CFL Dual with 100w of supplimentary T4 (2ft bars X 6) on the walls.

That lot weighs in at about £200 for lighting. For 996w total. (Estimate 350w true draw?)

I'm looking to grow 3 plants at a time, probably autos. Thermal.signature is my biggest worry due to the building design and being in a flight path for commercial and police traffic...
Not sure if I can stretch to insulating the whole outbuilding right now.
    Thoughts?

You can get 600w HPS for about £100, much better for your plants and less messing about, saving you £100 to insulate your roof. 3 plants, most probably too small for anyone to worry about, also pretty sure a 300w CFL uses 300w

Although you could use 2 x 400w or 600w HPS that should give the coverage....

    Thanks for the replies gents.
Can you use 2 lamps on 1 ballest at all
    2 X 400 sounds interesting

I'm a heavy user, upto an Oz a week usually and at the moment.
My maths says I need about 12/13 Oz for every 12/13 week grow

So just over 4oz a plant 3 with girls. Is that managable with autos and hps in soil? I've not grown in years apart from an auto I've had outside this year and a NL cutting I've got atm is about 1ft tall. Also outside.

It's doable, but not with CFLs.
