Hello all, it's been a while since I've posted here, I lost my Nan to cancer this year after a 9 month fight. She lasted 3 months longer than the Dr's gave her.
Not one to dwell on things that are out of my control, I was looking for a little advice.
I have what I assume to be a thrip problem, I have noticed damage on the lower leaves of my plants, it looks like small, white/silver trails & small dots of the same colour, I have also noticed tiny black dots on the very same damaged leaves.
I have attached 2 pictures to the post via tapatalk, I'm pretty sure it's thrips, but thus far have been unable to find any of the pesky little bastards.
I have Horticultural soap & 100% cold pressed neem oil at my disposal. I also have a rather large bag of Diatomaceous Earth to maybe add to the top of the coco.
My EC has been around 1.0, 0.7 background. pH is ranging from 5.8 - 6.0, the plants are currently under a 400w dual spec(dimmed to 250w) on a gas lantern light schedule in veg. They also suffered heavily with fan/heat stress in their seedling/cutting stage & some of the older fan leaves are still showing the damage.
As I mentioned, I'm pretty sure it thrips, I was just wondering what would be the best course of action to remove these pests before I flip them hoes to flower.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
