Default Propagating lavenders, as in, Lavendula plants

I have read a few websites about taking cuttings and so on, and apparently now is the time to do it. But I have pretty much had A BIG FAT ZERO success rate so far. The cuttings all seem to die off.

I know lavenders are cheap and easy to come by, but this is one 15 year old plant that I want to clone.

What would be a good environment for the cutting - it ain't going in the tent, that's for sure.

    Thanks in advance.

Hug those who care about you, do all you can for those you love (if they want it). We just never know when it might be the last time we talk to them or see them.
