tbh get the best one you can afford,

a cheap tent isn't gonna last before it needs replacing so a better tent saves you money
    id go for a HydroLab

I'm with The Budda, I have 2 Secret Jardin tents and they're fine, cant see the need to spend mega bucks on what is essentially a mylar box

that's what i said until my secret jardin developed 100's of tiny pinholes,
also the stiching around each sock leaked light,

a jardin 1.5x1.5 is £145 - the hydrolab 1.5x1.5 is only £20 extra for a tent that's literally twice the build quality,
    maybe that's just me =)

Good point, although not had that problem yet and the room tent is in is 100% dark. Just out of interest, which model, DS or DR ?

    it was a DR 1.2x1.2x2.0 revision 2,
the front door/flap looked like it had acne with 100's of little pieces of blackout glued all over the place lol
was just a daily thing checking it for holes

i honestly though they are all roughly the same until i got the hydrolab,
thicker poles, all double skinned with larger socks and diamond mylar interior,

added- for an extra £20 you just can't go wrong

I’m going BudBox Pro white for my upgrade.

A lot more reflective than Mylar or silver..

Expensive though but an extra approx £80 is worth it IMO.

I bought the Bud Box Pro 2.4 x 2.4 and am very impressed with it's construction, especially the zips (I was told that this something to watch-out for). There are few pin-hole leakages but they are too few to worry about. The frame is of excellent construction, being powder coated 25mm steel and the tent is fabric is sturdy and I am hoping, long-lasting. It was about £150 more expensive than the budget models but once I got it home and constructed it, I was very happy with the overall design. It keeps odours from my daisies in check and has plenty of intakes and access points. Very pleased overall!
