    Default Plant+pot height

Hello! I need help, please tell me, when I read this on a seeds info panel: Plant Height 60 -120 cm. These numbers are with pot height, or without?

Hello there that is the height of the plant from where it comes out of the growing medium. You will need to add the pot height to that.

Pot sizes, training methods, nutrients, light source, strain/genetics ALL affect ultimate height of the plant.

Best to ask the breeder directly.

Thanks, your answer. If I have 104cm max height under the lamps, these plant heights 60-120cm, will be manageable, and if, how hard is it? It will be my first try.

Thanks your answer. What is the good pot size for grown 80-90cm plants?

Your space is to low , For a plant , pot & light as you need a good 12" - 36" gap for the light(depends on what light you use ) plus your plant at 47"

If i was you i would be looking at some kinda scrog or training to keep them flat and low

Options i would look at if i was you would be

12/12 from seed ( might end up still to tall)
    scrog ( best option imho)
Mainline ( still might end up to tall )

Or some other kinda flat table
    (low stress training)

Search around the site or google on howto achieve the methods but SCROG will be perfect for you

I wouldnt mess about trying to stunt the plants to fit as yield will make it worthless in the end

Thanks. If I understand well, I need to choose seeds what is good for SCROG, and a chicken wire, what i put in my system in time, to the needed height?

Mephisto Genetics have pot size recommendations. Their site is not very slick but does contain most of the info. They are a small company of just two people last time I read, so adjust your expectations. I like them though.

A bit of topping, LST (low stress training - posh name for holding down plants with wires or pegs to shape the plant to fit your environment) can shape your plant, so there is hope.

What light source are you using?

    What strain?

    Soil or hydro?

Perhaps it's best to read the stickered posts in the areas relevant to you and re-think how you want to go about it.

And go through the diaries sections too to see how other people have done it and what troubles to anticipate.

Good work for checking plant height vs the space you have.

Or, it might be worth your time to get a mentor.

Lamps: 2x300Watt Vivosun led, and soil. I am thinking about Berry Bomb Auto, THC Bomb Auto.
