    WHAT DO WE THINK?
Our fan and filter kits are designed to take the guess work out of your ventilation set up. Save money and time by buying as a full kit, saving up to 20% compared to buying individually!

    4″ RVK A1 Inline Fan (Airflow: 184m3/hr)

4″ Rhino Hobby Carbon Filter (300mm Length)

    5m Aluminium Duct

    2 x Duct Clip

I’ve found a full fan and filter 4” kit that has this description is that everything I need?

that aluminium ducting is terrible stuff and should be replaced with 'combi ducting'
quiter and it doesn't leak light like the aluminium ducting does,

a 4'' is more than fine for a 150w hps

So apart from that would you say that’s good? I can just buy a separate ducting?

the hobby filter won't last compared to a rhino Pro filter but it's ok,
yea you can buy ducting separate, it's only £8 or so

the hobby will last 6-10 months max
the rhino pro should last 2 years 'with the correct humidity anyway'

so u'll buy 2 hobby or one pro

Here are the free airflow figures for each fan within the kits - take off around 25% for the actual installed airflow value:

    CAN RK 100A - 240m3
    CAN RK 100L - 270m3
    CAN RK 125A - 310m3
    CAN RK 125L - 350m3
    CAN RK 150A - 470m3
    CAN RK 150L - 760m3
    CAN RK 200A - 820m3
    CAN RK 250A - 830m3

What’s the difference from A and L on the pro?

your looking at the extractors, it's the carbon filter you want 'pro'
the A is standard extractor model the L is the larger volume version,

just ebay search - Rhino pro 4'' kit

I have a 60x60x120 tent with one plant usually or one starting as the other is ending, I do photo, auto, photo as I can start vegging the photo as the auto is coming to an end then I can flip as soon as my auto is out of there and drying. I have a 250w hps in there with a passive intake and a 4" extractor fan and oscillating fan. My temps are totally fine and usually sitting around the 25-26 range but by opening the window I can lower temps by a bit should it get a bit hot. I'm in uk though so I don't know where you are but just to let you know how I get in with my set up with a 250w. Happy growing mate and good luck. I've had a few nice harvests from my wee tent now and I haven't bought anything for at least a year and a half. I smoke all day and haven't had to go without using that cycle I use.
