    Mine's a 40 x 40 x 120 tent, so I can kinda relate.

The heat thing can become an issue in the summer. I would seriously prioritise the extractor fan and carbon filter over the HPS upgrade any day. I use a 4 inch RVK fan with a SMS Com fan controller, and a 300mm Rhino Pro filter. My first filter was a RAM and it was fine until flowering.

The 4 inch RVK should be adequate for your tent. It is *LOUD* so get a good fan controller. At first I felt the shop was robbing me somewhat for the big kit, but they were right about the fan. I needed the strong extraction to keep any stray air currents in check so no smell would leak. Just because the tent sucked in was not enough. Just my 2 cents.

You won't need a massive fan/filter for that sized tent. 4" would be plenty.
Make sure you have a desk fan on oscillate blowing over you plant to keep it cool and strengthen it. If when you get to flower its too hot in your tent you might want to look for an in-fan. I got one for £30 as i was really struggling with the heat. All things I've learnt recently

    JUST THOUGHT!!!

Right, with the 120 height that you have, just IMHO but I'd swot up on training techniques like LST and topping, SCROG and such because the HPS and white lighting from what I have read make plants grow tall, which is not entirely compatible with your tent if all that length was vertical. You might be better off with a GOOD "blurple" LED in the future if you stick with the same sized tent.

They are cheaper than a new front door.

Not personally tried that, but if the seller is a long established hydro shop based in your country of residence, and they have good feedback for that particular fan, then it might be good.

So many shoddy electronics out there and I am very sceptical on over-cheap electrical goods. AC 240 volts is to be respected.
