Looking forward to seeing another strip build

That sounds awfully sensible. I'm a firm believer in the "just keep drilling until it fits" approach myself...

Hahaha that is my normal approach, walls in the house have plenty of holes where shelves were supposed to be, but the holes didn't match up with the shelves lol

Thought I'd get a bit more 'sensible' when making something that benefits me lol 😂

Right the ally is here so I can begin work on the frame..

    Heres my plan.
    Cut 2 x 450mm lengths
Cut 6 at 320mm (this fits with 5mm tolerance into the space and allows 20mm either end of the q strips)
Fix the 2 sides and 2 ends to make a frame and then space the remaining 4 strips 75mm apart.

The driver and strips are here tomorrow so if the glue arrives I can fix the strips tomorrow then its just a case of waiting for the wire n wagos. I think Im ok with the frame and fitting the q strips but will need a bit of your time Gardo to wire it up and install mate

Ok so I've built the outer part of the frame and have checked it for fit and it fits like a fucking glove 😉

I did not make it to the end so sorry if this has been covered already. Is this being designed so that the lights can be controlled separately from the fan? Will 18/6 or 12/12 be an option with this upgrade?

One frame ready for the Q-series, strips are spaced with a 60mm distance between each one.

Its mainly so I have a better quality light and to get slightly more watts but spread the central par so the plant can cope with being closer. But yes I will have the option for any light cycle I like as fans and lights will be on seperate feeds . I will probably go 20/4 next grow but I do like the 24/0 as well. I have mylar coming tomorrow

Bro. That looks fantastic. Tidy work. Can never go wrong with a wrong bench ;-)

Coming together real quick. Surprised me as i thought those lights came from china.
