Started with soil & semi organic, went to soil fully organic & then ventured into coco...

Soil? Excellent taste but a smaller return
Coco? A loss in taste but a higher return

Coco - I make oil for meds exclusively now. The coco gives me the end product in quantities that make it worth the extra effort of growing in Coco.

When I have smoked, I also preferred the soil grown herb that I first grew.

I've tried soil, hydro and dwc, soil is my favourite. I use plant magic soil supreme and water it a few days before planting the seed, it grows great microbacteria, not as good as a 'living soil' approach but better than normal soil/compost. Along with that i use organic nutes from the same company and no additives.

Love soil because of the tastes and smells and it gets you learning alot .

Love coco for the ease and control yall have over the plant . I would suggest everyone try it . Its almost just as fast as dwc when well done . without the fawkin headaches to boot tbh .

Starting to think I’d like to try growing for the first time in soil seeing as it seems everyone agrees this gives the best quality/taste.

What is the preferred soil and size of pots to use?
