yeah my last grow I used a cheap led and it bleached my plant no matter how far away I kept it. Do all led burn plants so easily or are their some that if kept at right distance wont harm my plants as much?

Well LEDs are most definitely a doable option. I think the general rule is you want the 12-18 inches from the canopy while CFL's are within like 6 inches. Look at Ironmans stuff for some cfl info and Im not sure who the goto LED person is but Im sure the subforum would sort ya out.

the leds will be much higher up than the cfls
most then find out the cfl shade is blocking 60% of the leds light so they go all led and keep the cfl for seedlings, jmo

LEDs are definitely packing haha I only have a 100w COB but itll be like an incinerator with young plants even at that.

Start it at 30w, 30cm away and slowly increase. You can get it close when the plants are flowering and can take the higher par. But then you alter the spread so you really lose more than you gain.
