Default Spray amount from wilma blue drippers

I have a maxi jet 500 with Iceline pipes attached to the blue drippers .
Should it spray out like an arc as it’s only running down the Dripper.

It’s not exactly going to spread far in the clay pebbles . Is this right .

The pump seems to be working fine has good suction at the intake , the little barbed outlets on the manifold are small , could this be stemming the flow .

Would it be better modding somehow having two pipes per pot ?
Would a more powerful pump be better or is it just meant to drip ?

    Any thoughts guys

I'd upgrade the pump to a maxijet 1000. What Wilma you in?

    It’s the 4pot 50ltr ..
just wondering why they include a pump that’s not really fit for purpose.
Soil yes but clay no .

So does the maxijet 1000 cause a spray effect coming out from drippers .

Most people upgrade from the 500 to 1000. It's not a full-on spray but it's certainly not a dribble. The 1000 will sort you out.

Think I might add a second pipe to each pot . That should then provide a decent amount of spread .
Has any one used them Halo Rings ?

I use two or sometimes three drippers per pot depending and adjust my feed pump timer accordingly.

I've never used halo rings personally but I've heard that they tend to calcify and clog up a lot easier than regular drippers.

That having been said, it's good practice to check that your drippers aren't clogged once a week or so. I take them off, soak them in some hot water in the basin and blow through them. Sometimes you have to run your fingers tightly down them to release whatever is clogging them. It's usually sediment of some sort.

How do you connect another pipe , do you have an extra manifold ? Or have some sort of t-piece .

I bought another standalone Wilma dripper system off Fleabay and added the extra nipple bits for the drippers.

No, I've just added the two extra nipple sections to the existing tubing. It all runs of the one pump.
