    Default First DWC

Finished my 1st ever grow a couple months back. Turned out pretty well after a few complications.

Thought I’d start a new one with DWC bubbler system.

I bought 4 19L oxypots, with bubbler ect.

PH is bang on in the range, nutes started at a lower dose. Transplanted the cuttings into the net pots this morning.

Was just curious as to what I should expect from the first week just so I know what’s normal and what’s not....

Any info would be great. 👍

What lights you using? Those girls are super lanky. You wanna get your light/s closer to them.

Was the roots hanging out of them pots before it went into the system. When ya say ph is in range what do you have it set at ? Where is the water level in conjunction with the bottom of the net pots? And what’s ya temp of the water ? 🇬🇧

    2 are 5.8, one is 5.9 and 1 is 6
I was thinking it would’ve been too much hassle to get them all the same lol water is at 18.6 degrees and the net pots are slightly above the water

The roots are well formed but they’re all in the net pots

Ya need to make sure the pots are just about getting wet and not soaking wet through. Ya want the water from ya bubbles just getting them pots damp not soaking this will make the roots come searching for the water, if they are two wet the roots won’t need to go on there travels looking for the water. It’s best to get all pots set at the same ph . You might find this easier to achieve if you dilute the ph down solution. Never set it lower then 5.8 and then let it raise to 6.2 before you adjust this again. Doing this let’s them have a better range at taking nutes . Water temp is important and ya don’t want it climbing above 19 degrees. What nutes are you using? And no matter what anyone has told ya or what any hydro shop as sold you, you don’t want anything organic in them buckets

Brilliant thanks for all of the advice.

I bought some shogun A and B. I have some silver bullet roots.

The net pots are only ever so slightly above the water level, the bubbles cover the circumference of the bottom.

Shall I adjust the PH ASAP to get them all the same or bare it in mind for when I change the solution?
