I think the Q series is still likely a better bet due to lower diode density, like Gardro says, but might be worth reading up on at least?
Thing is with electronics mate there's always the next two or three generations in development so you will never have the latest very long. Never a bad or good time to buy

From what I've read, there's no supply date or preorders from the 3 suppliers I've been looking at.
I won't pretend to know the science, and I'm sure they'll be great, but they'll also prob need me to sacrifice more of my limited height.
Cheers for the suggestion tho, learnt a few new nuggets from googling

Gardo: do we do a mix of light types so it's dual for both veg and flower, or is 3000k the average of the strips with multiple types on em? Sorry, new to all this

Cool, I was getting confused with the regular led lights where they advise 5k+ for veg. Whereas I assume each led covers various spectrums on the strips?

We could specify varied spectra and indeed I'm working on another big build using this but in your environment and the limited amount of watts, there would not be enough overlap and the growth would be inconsistent.

Cool, well if the ones I linked above are the ones you'd go with then that good enough for me
Just need to know quantity and then I'll start sourcing the driver, aluminum, cables, and whatever else you advise.
