Default Dimming lights for last 2 weeks

Hello everyone, I have been toying with the idea of dimming my lights from 600 to 400 for the last 2 weeks of flower. I have found some of the larger buds seem to suffer and lets face it they're as big as they a re going to get at this stage. All we are doing is ripening them.

It seems more natural to dim the lights at this stage in the plants life instead of blasting them with full summer sunshine, would save a bob or two on electricity as well.

Might also be an idea to reduce the lights on time to say 10 hours.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

TO GROW A PLANT YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE A PLANT

I've just cut down to 11 hours to help my sativa finish. I like the theory of using less at the end, seems to make sense. My new LEDs have an easy dimmer so I'd be keen to hear other thoughts also.

Could try it see how they respond to it mate
that's the best teacher, actually trying it out for yourself mate

the last weeks is where the potency comes from
most digital ballasts have a 10% boost for the last weeks to increase the intensity vs reducing the actual watts used

could drop the hours to 11/13 vs dimming the bulb,

Let us know how it goes mate. I was toying around with the idea of in the last 2-3 weeks of my next grow, only having the 'bloom' light running and not the 'veg/bloom' lights combined. All trial and error.
